Correspondence with Sir Fabian Arthur Goulstone Ware (1869-1949), newspaper editor and the founder of the Imperial War Graves Commission, relating to discussion of articles for the Manchester Guardian by Ware on the [war] cemeteries, and the inclusion of photographs. Also included is an offer by Ware of an article on the organisation of the Imperial War Graves Commission, and its role in promoting international co-operation, which is accepted. Also included is an internal memorandum discussing the subject. There is correspondence relating to the provision of articles for the back page of the paper by Harry Fabian Ware, artist, [son of Ware], two of which are accepted. Also included is a letter of thanks for the support offered by Scott to Ware and to Harry Fabian Ware, and a request to meet with Scott, which is granted.
