Correspondence with J.M. Denvir, journalist, relating to the provision of information on Denvir's employment as a sub-editor in the London office of the Manchester Guardian, with discussion of his previous experience.

Also included is correspondence relating to praise of notes made by Denvir on a visit to Ireland, reference to the destruction of the Four Courts in Dublin, the beginning of the Irish Civil War, and the appointment of Healy as Governor General of the Irish Free State.
