Smith, the some of Charles W. Smith (LDS), gained his medical and dental education at Manchester. He was house surgeon and later honorary dental surgeon to Manchester Dental Hospital. He was later also honorary dental surgeon to MRI. Smith was a member of Manchester Medical Society.
