Senior gained his medical education at Owens College and held house appointments and Manchester Southern and Maternity Hospitals before settling in general practice in Manchester. Senior was a member of the North of England Obstetrical and Gynaecological Society. From 1915 to 1917, he held a temporary commission in the RAMC. Senior was a general practitioner in North Wales, Manchester and retired to Ilkley. He died on [15?] April 1940.
